2012-2013 Season

Congratulations on being part of the
Aliso Niguel Boys Basketball 2012-2013 Season!

We want to welcome our new Freshman players and parents into the program.  We are excited about this season and hope to continue the tradition of excellence that Coach Barnett has established here at Aliso Niguel High School.

  • We want to invite all parents of players to a mandatory meeting this Thursday, September 20th in the Auditorium.  It will begin at 6:00pm for Freshman and new Parents and then 6:30pm for all returning parents.  Please plan to attend this important meeting that will explain our goals and ambitions for this year.
  • What do Cookies and Cars have in common?  Not much.  But for ANHS Basketball, it means we are selling cookie dough and OC Car Show tickets.  These are our only "product" sales that we do as a program.  The boys will be introduced to cookie dough on Monday during 6th period.  More information will follow on Monday night.
  • Our Booster organization is seeking volunteers.  Volunteering is part of our program anyway - and all families are asked to participate throughout the season.  However, we are looking for those who might want to head up a committee or help with team  or event organization.  Please respond to this email and let me know your level of interest.
  • Information!  There is a lot of information that needs to get out and we will try our best to keep the emails at a minimum.  Two things will help.  On Thursday, please update your contact information with your phone and email addresses.  All announcement will be sent out via email (and/or text) throughout the season.  Please check the website often for updated information - especially calendar items.  The calendar is kept up to date and changes will be reflected there first.  If you have a smart phone, you can subscribe to the calendar and get all practice and game times right on your phone.

We had a lot of success last year and we hope to build on that success.  We are counting on each of you to take part in the program throughout the year.  Once again, we welcome each of you to this great program.

Go Wolverines!
