The ANHS Varsity team finished in third place at the Torrey Pines Tournament over the Christmas holiday break.  After opening with wins over Mount Si/WA (46-43), and Lodi/CA (62-58), the Wolverines lost an extremely tough game in the semifinals to Bingham (the #10-ranked team in Utah and the eventual tournament winner), 73-69, in overtime.  The squad was able to show its ability to fight back on the final evening of the tournament by defeating the host school, Santa Fe Christian (63-60) to win the 3rd place game.  The Wolverines continue their schedule on 1/3/13 by traveling to Elsinore HS for their final non-league contest before beginning South Coast League action on 1/9/13 at Mission Viejo HS.  Come out to support the ANHS Varsity team!
