The ANHS boys varsity team was given the #2 seed in the upcoming CIF Division 1A playoffs when the pairings were announced on Sunday, 2/13.  Because of the fact that there were not enough "wild card" entries that filed the proper paperwork to CIF, the playoff bracket of 32 teams was not completely filled, and the top four teams that won their league championship this season were given a first-round bye.  The Wolverines were one of the four schools chosen to automatically advance to the second round of the CIF playoffs, and will begin play at home on Friday, 2/18 against the winner of the Warren vs. Arroyo Valley first-round game.  Game time will be at 7 pm.  Information about ticket sales and other CIF playoff-related items will be announced during the week.  Come out and enjoy ANHS basketball during exciting CIF playoff games!
